Description | When a cavern is discovered, the mining designations made on previously unknown squares disappear fine for floor, water, magma, and empty space, but shrubs stay highlighted as if they were designated for gathering, and ramps blink. |

It isn't an intermittent bug, but rather that it hasn't happened to me enough times that I felt confident saying "always", and I didn't want to go to the trouble of purposefully replicating it. |

I've just had this happen with a tree in an adamantine tube (not open to hell, but mud enclosed by adamantine). The tree remained designated for "digging". after the rest of the layer had been cleared out, but nobody came to cut it down or anything. |

Can Confirm present for 0.40.09
New I was about to breach caverns so I designated a giant area to be mined. Once cavern was breached designations on tree trunks, shrubs and "up ramps" on tower cap remained. ( Had no up ramps on designated cavern layer.
Dwarfs proceeded to carry out wood cutting and plant gathering jobs. |
