Where did you get the game from?
Curses sets are included in the vanilla download from Bay12Games.
Should be in the folder /data/art |

I got the game from the official site and the .jpegs are all in the proper space including the curses_640x300.jpeg file. I even re-downloaded the game last night to try and fix the issue to no avail. |

How are you starting the game? Are you changing to the game directory 1st? And why are you using Wine instead of the native Linux version of the game? And why aren't we discussing this on the forums? |

None of those specifically mention Wine, but 0006147 mentions XP, which may be similar to the environment that Wine provides.
al1, does using the native Linux build of DF resolve the issue? (Possibly with fixes from 0002688?) |
