Summary0001171: Display bug viewing smelter reactions
DescriptionAt least I assume it's a display bug because the process of smelting bars appears to work fine.

When you use the 'view' key on a metal bar it displays all the smelter reactions it can participate in, and then you can select a particular reaction to see the details of that reaction. The information displayed is not correct.

E.g. for making bronze bars, the screen shows the following

REAGENTS PRODUCTS

Tin bars [150] Copper bars [150]Bronze bars [2]
Copper bars [150]

Takes place at smelter
Requires fuel


I assume the result is supposed to be 2 bronze bars each of quantity 150. I don't know how that's supposed to show up. As Bronze bars [150][2] perhaps?
Steps To ReproduceGenerate a world and start a fortress game. Prepare carefully, selecting a copper bar to take with you on embark.

On arrival at the site, use the T key on the wagon to inspect its contents and select the copper bar. Then scroll down to the 'make bronze bars (use bars)' reaction and press Enter to 'View selected'

This stems from the same causes as 0000040, and more specifically 0000063, but this mentions the same display error in a different place so I'm leaving it open.

It's certainly related but I'm not sure it's exactly the same issue. Mantis ate my spaces so it isn't visible in the problem description but the right hand side under "PRODUCTS" reads "Copper bars [150]Bronze bars [2]". I can live with the game reporting that 150 bars are needed, but what's the copper doing over there on the right?

This is pretty much a duplicate of 0000451, though it is more detailed. In any event it was resolved as of 31.09.
