0001731: Military dwarf successfully completes mood; won't perform civilian tasks when unassigned from military
I had a dwarf training in the barracks receive a strange mood. The dwarf completed the mood and became a legendary clothier. I then unassigned the dwarf from its squad and made it a clothesmaker, but would not perform tasks at the clothesmakers workshop or deconstruct the workshop.

I tried assigning it Mining. It picked up a pick. I unassigned Mining and it put down the pick. It still wouldn't work on clothesmaking when I reactivated the labor and the tasks.

Reassigning it to the squad and then removing it had no effect.
Have a dwarf that is training enter a strange mood and complete it successfully.
Dwarf still takes on Eat and Drink tasks successfully.

This fits the description of 0000605, which means it probably didn't have anything to do with the mood. Unfortunately I don't think there are any known workarounds. However, it might be helpful for you to upload your save so that Toady can take a look at it. http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^]

I'm pretty sure this behavior will be fixed in 0.31.06, at least for individual training. I'm not clear on organized training yet, but it's not mood related in any case, so there are other issues (0000605, etc.) where we can consolidate the discussion.
