Not wanting to file a duplicate bug report (do you have a way for reporters to +1 a bug report?) but this happens for me too.

This happens to me as well when I try to select a uniform.
Ubuntu 10.04

Yeah, we were waiting for confirmation from aledi that this is in fact the uniform selection crash and not something else, but since we haven't gotten a response, we'll assume it's that.
