I have no idea what that means. Please clarify which "members" you're talking about and what announcement you're getting, and how the expected behavior differs from what you're observing.

In the last instance, the Trade caravan axelord was announced right before the trade caravan itself was announced. The Axelord was the trade caravan guard.

Name, Axelord has arrived! Then proceeded by the announcement of the Trade Caravan itself.

The axelord was probably your liaison/diplomat -- see 0000253. Does that explain this?

No, I dont believe so. As the Axelord had the axelord tile graphic, and I had a trade liaison with the @ symbol. 

It happen most Dwarf Caravans, so I'll try my best to up load a save before it arrives.

My guess is that the axelord arrive on my location before the caravan did.

Don't suppose you still have that save? No one else has filed a duplicate report or even supported this report with the same findings.

You stated you had a correctly tiled liaison, but what about a diplomat? I've never seen caravan guards get announced, only the caravan itself. Did your announcements also include that announcement for the liaison? You will get two consecutive announcements, so it may have just looked like it was the guard getting announced (you can zoom to the announcement location). Also, check the axe lord with [v] and see if he has the liaison/diplomat position title under his name. Otherwise, this is going to be a 'does not reproduce.'
