0002232: 0000141 not entirely resolved. Mayor not always replaced on death.
My mayor had to recently be put down due to a lack of shells for his fey mood. The mayor position has been missing from my nobles screen for several months now. Will upload a save shortly.

Do you still have a duplicate mayor from 31.04 or earlier in your fort?

If so, you need to kill *all* your mayors to get an instant-election according to my experiments.

Ahh, yes, I do still have some non-mayor mayors. I will try to get them killed off and see if that forces a new election.

Just a followup. Once I killed of my old mayors that still had the mayor designation, a new mayor was elected immediately.

Alright, thanks for testing that. I added your findings to 0000141, and am marking this report as resolved.
