Summary | 0002259: Reptile Men do not have teeth |
Description | RAWs show:
[BODY:HUMANOID:TAIL:2EYES:NOSE:2LUNGS:HEART:GUTS:ORGANS:HUMANOID_JOINTS:THROAT:NECK:SPINE:BRAIN:SKULL:4FINGERS:4TOES:MOUTH]
This has the notable lack of teeth. Not sure if this is intended, but I can't see why reptiles would be bereft of these.
The Attack for biting reflects the lack of teeth, and this is a main attack. Without teeth, they are mainly just gumming on you.
Personally have added GENERIC_TEETH_WITH_FANGS |

I think you are envisioning a different reptile than what the description states:
"They have the head and tail of a lizard..." |

|
Reminder sent to: Toady One Hey Toady -- 0004339 reported that reptile men still lack teeth, so I reopened this. |
|
|
|
There was a small change to the reptile man raws - their bite attack was changed from MAIN to SECOND, as described in the file changes.txt file. So, I would assume that the lack of teeth is intentional, and that the fix was to make reptile men rely less on their blunt bite. |

Yeah, I was moving the bite over to a secondary attack, and I marked it as fix since the report mentioned that it is a main attack and gummy. I went ahead and went over to teeth, and added them to the attack which is main again. Kind of go back and forth on these guys, since some lizards look so toothless even if they have little teeth. |
