0002343: Rat remains are labeled as "rat "
What looked like rat remains blocked one of my outside doors from closing, but on further inspection, it turned out it was not "Rat remains" but simply a "Rat", despite looking like just like how you'd expect a dead one to look. It can be designated for dumping (nobody will ever do this, however) and otherwise seems to be handled as a normal object, except nobody ever wants to touch the thing. If I remember correctly, it first showed up in 31.01, but has kept lying there even after updates. Removing the door did not help, and neither did trying to move it through both animal and refuse stockpiles.

Did you try siccing a cat on it? Also, is this a reclaim fort? Reclaims are still buggy.

You should definitely upload a save showing the aforesaid rat. http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^]

Wait a minute, you said that this showed up in .01 . Does this mean that this same game was played in .01 and you transferred it through versions up till now? I know what you said, I'm just clearing up a bit of confusion.

It could be related to the vermin not rotting bug which got fixed, but since it was moved through versions repeatedly, I'm not sure here.

You're sure it's a rat and not a bat? Because there's a bug with bat remains that makes them display at "bat ."

Uploaded the save. Here you go: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=2545 [^]

Also, yeah it's definitely a rat, and yes the game was started in .01 and continued through the other versions.

Looked at this save in 31.18. In the picture provided with the save, it shows "This is a rat ." Notice the space before the period. Exact same problem as with bat, as Logical2u stated. In fact, if you scroll through the stocks lists for remains, it shows both "bat " and "rat " remains.
