Summary | 0002460: Dwarf owned items in trade screen |
Description | Items owned by individuals are showing up in the trade screen. |
Steps To Reproduce | |
Additional Information | Not sure if this is a bug or not, but if it's not it would be nice to have some sort of indication or sorting of the list based on what's been claimed/bought by a dwarf and what hasn't. Realistically, the broker should have the power to trade some of Urist's socks for food if the fort is starving, possibly generating a negative thought about communism or something if they're that way inclined, but it'd be nice to have personal possessions listed differently/separately for times when you don't want to strip them of their trinkets. |

Just some more info: most of my dwarves don't yet have places to store their possessions, which may explain why they're showing up as they're most likely still in stockpile bins. |

I don't have a save or anything, but I can confirm experiencing this in 31.18. A dwarf claimed an item in a bin, and I was able to sell it to an elven trader without issue after the bin was hauled to the depot. I haven't confirmed any items not in bins being available for dragging to the depot though. |

While this is possibly the same issue allowing 0001708, a save would be helpful. |

When containers are picked up to be hauled to the depot, the game is supposed to explicitly remove all untradeable things from them and drop them on the floor, and that includes owned items (and artifacts and forbidden items).
Perhaps the item inside the bin was claimed by a dwarf while the bin was being carried to the depot?

Any interest in investigating the 'artifact in trading depot' glitch? Otherwise I'll delete the save file. |
