this is still present 4 years later, and seems to be causing massive FPS lag in the game. As soon as my dwarf entered this state, FPS dropped to 4 and people are just crawling. I thought it was because i opened a cavern to fight the beast, but things were fine until the dwarf was hurt, and also I've closed the cavern back up (levered flood gate), so it isn't a case of a mass spam of jobs. |

Confirmed, soldier just finally died (he was too far away for anyone to rescue in time) and as soon as he died FPS returned to normal. This should be upgraded in severity as it's a severely debilitating bug. |

Too late. he died within a few minutes and I couldn't do much in the game besides watch the slideshow. It's easy to replicate. I don't know if you have some dev tools you can use to spawn a forgotten beast with a poisonous bite, but if you do, get him to poison a dwarf and you've pretty much got it.
No nothing interesting there. This is a pretty obvious bug. Somehow the paralyzed state continually interrupts rest state. My dwarf was paralyzed and couldn't breathe so he was suffocating. He was trying to rest because of his injury but being paralyzed just interrupted it 10 times a second until he suffocated. For some reason that placed an enormous burden on the system and choked it. I've got another poisonous bite forgotten beast behind a wall. Tomorrow I'll try letting him out and see if I can replicate this. My dwarves are pretty high level, so It's not sure. This was a marksdwarf I think who got hit with his boiling extract through a fortification that made him paralyzed as he tried to go back to the barracks after the fight. |
