Summary | 0004279: Assigning a hauler to a burrow freezes him and generates endless messages |
Description | If I assign a dwarf to a burrow while he is hauling an item, and the burrow doesn't include the item's destination (or any other valid stockpile), he will just stand there and generate job cancellation messages FOREVER.
I'm not sure what happens if the burrow contains a valid stockpile for the item, but I guess the same problem would occur.
The workaround for this is to forbid the item that the dwarf is hauling. However, I really shouldn't have to do that. The dwarf should drop it automatically. Also, this is a beginner's trap because new players probably will have no idea that it's even possible to forbid an item that a dwarf is holding. |
