0004423: Badger left rotting in the sun, missing from corpse stockpile
Killed badgers are left rotting even if not forbidden, corpse stockpile seems missing the badger entry.
kill a badger, see it left rotting in the sun, or attached the related save.

I downloaded your save. Those dead badgers are all skeletons, and badgers are clearly in the Corpses section for Refuse stockpiles, right under capybaras and above moose.

Am I missing something here?

well, turns out that I forgot to set gather refuse from outside.

still the badger is missing from the pile menu? I'll need to recheck.

Make sure you're looking in the Corpses section of the Refuse category, not the Corpses category (which is for dwarf corpses, I guess).
