Replacing [AQUIFER] with [AQUIFER in raws makes deserts go disco:

http://mkv25.net/dfma/movie-2345-discodesert [^]

No veins of any ore only gems.
Replace all [AQUIFER] with [AQUIFER in inorganic_stone_*, generate world, embark on desert, go funky.
Not sure if this is a bug since the tag should be deleted completely and not just remove the closing bracket.
No tags attached.

Yeah, this is pretty much expected behaviour. When you break a part of the RAWs, it tends to affect the rest of the RAWs in a cascade. For example, people who edit dwarf RAWs incorrectly tend to have them become alligators or the like.

In this case, the materials are all just glitching out, which I've seen happen when you try to create an inappropriate material... which is exactly what happened here.
