0005113: Readable materials (books, slabs) duplicating in inventory
After picking up a slab and a book, both of which contained the secrets of life and death, I noticed quite soon that my speed was dropping every time I entered a new site. Upon looking at my inventory, I had a dozen copies of the slab in one hand and the book in the other. If I dropped the original one in my backpack, the ones in my hands would disappear and return my speed to normal, but if I picked it up again they would restart the duplication. If I restart the game without saving and pick them up again where I got them (see below), the same thing happens each time, so it's probably either completely reproducible or related to how I got them.
With another adventurer I went to a necromancer's tower for the first time, and abused sneaking while looking for the secrets of life and death. I found both a book and a slab that had them, and after slaughtering the tower I left for the nearest town. I'm not sure if the bug was occurring then, because I went straight for the town. After spending the night resting as not to get attacked by monsters, I woke up on the roof, because of the sleeping bug in 0005047, and tried to jump off to get down. Unsurprisingly I died, but since I knew where it was I went back with another adventurer to the town and found the body and the items, and that's where I would pick it up each time I tried reproducing it.
I haven't tried dropping the items from my hands instead of my backpack, so I'm not sure what that might do. None of my other items were replicating.

This seems to be related to 0001179. I also noticed at least one book being duplicated during my wandering of a human fortress with a panther demon, who had written several books. One in my backpack, one on the ground where I found it.

I've fixed this one. I have yet to test the older problems, so they may or may not be fixed, but books are "artifacts", so it's all related.
