Summary0005221: Royal family (minus the actual monarch) arrive as normal migrants
DescriptionI started a small world in year 5. In year 6 Shorast Limlisan, king consort and his two children came to my fortress. This was before I had any actual nobles show up. His wife is still showing as queen/Farmer in the civilisations screen information and she is in his relationships screen as you would expect. His wife did not join the fortress with him.

Me too. King consort arrived minus wife, no children, in the first year of play in a pocket world. I think it is year 31 for the world. Wife is still queen of civilization. There is also a general.

Edit: Not long after I posted this, the king consort was taken by a fey mood and made a cobaltite crown. Is that amazing, or what? After making the artifact, he "became a king consort". I guess the game recognizes that royalty can't become a tradesman.

This has happened in roughly 50% of my new fortresses so far. (2 out of 5) The second time it was year 152.
