Summary0005751: Militia commander / Baron stuck on "Conduct Meeting"
DescriptionWhen my fort was made a barony I appointed my militia commander to the baron position - he is both now.

The human diplomat came to my fort and hasn't left for years - he keeps following around the baron, who always has "conduct meeting" as his job. He has an office, but doesn't seem to ever use it. He responds to military orders, but he's stuck on this otherwise.

Actually, he does train/haul etc in between - he just never holds the meeting.

I made someone else the commander and then made him a squadmate - same problem.

Marking this as a child of 0000778 - I don't think it is a matter of position (mayor/baron/commander) but of any meeting-enabled noble being in the military.

Can you remove him from military and disable hauling? It may be duplicate of 0001700: Dwarves can start another job while conducting a meeting

I cannot, as he has died.

Can you give me a specific set of things to test? I can fork off from my current save. I'm still on the same fort.

If your save isn't demonstrating this specific problem anymore, it's probably not useful anymore. If you do reproduce the issue, please post a save at 0000778.
