0005810: Reproducible Fort Mode crash about 10 seconds after unpausing
Pretty much vanilla version of the game. The only raws changes are language ones (removes accents), several changes in init files.

Playing Fortress mode. At one point, late summer had a crash. Restored auto-save, forced save a bit later, again crashed in late summer. Third time saved right before the crash happens. It's 15th of Galena in-game, no events in gamelog.
Every time it crashes, I'm not doing any particular action, just let the dwarves do their job.
After the crash I downloaded fresh 34.07, unzipped (no init changes this time), loaded save - crashing at the exact same spot. Tried compatibility mode to WinXP SP3 - still crash in the same spot.

Link to the save file: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=6166 [^]
Download the save: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=6166 [^]

Start up DF, load save. Unpause the game. About 10 seconds into the game it crashes, every time I load the game.

TEMPERATURE:NO also does not prevent the crash.

Galena 15th is the time when human traders or summer siege or ambush come, so it may be what causes the crash.

Is there anything I can do about this bug? Provide any more additional information? It'd be really great to get back to that playing DF and I really don't want to risk playing if this kind of crash can happen in another fort of mine.

Is it possible that the changed language files can cause that? Turned out I used older version of the language files and they seem to be missing some words. Still, trying to load the save with original language files results in exact same crash.

I abandoned the fortress, reclaimed it and tried running it again: 600 FPS, just making sure dwarves have something to eat. Tantrums were killing lots of them, but for some reason I had huge migrations one after another. Enough to last through 2 summers. This time no crash at all, both summers 15th Galena passed like any other day. Pretty much no wealth generated at all, so if it was a siege that caused it, this little test wouldn't suffice.
I noticed, however, that this time nothing unfroze. I had 2 biomes, one unfreezing a bit earlier than the other, after reclaim, rivers were frozen solid all year, snow laying on the ground all the time (different bug perhaps?).

Anyway, I'm considering re-genning the same world, this time using language files with all words in it, settling in the same spot and checking out what happens.

Since save compatibility has been broken since this report, it's hard to tell whether this crash has since been fixed. If anyone has a save that crashes under similar conditions in the latest version, please upload it to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^] and PM a manager on the forums (or reopen the report).
