I don't know why, but the necromancery slabs can't be found. I initially thought I had melted the slab by accident with my modded adventurers fire breath, but I looked at the legends and it didn't say the slab was lost. Attempted with the other two towers in this save and making sure not to use fire on the third one, I still didn't find any slabs. I also checked the forts that legends claims that they were stored in and not there either.

I know it's not the modded adventurer since I've gotten slabs from necromancer towers before.

Going to do a regen of that world and attempt to find the slabs again, this time without using fire breath to melt zombies.

Huh, the worldgen actually came out slightly different historically with different placement of the towers.

Edit: Okay, the legends of the regen says that two of the slabs were stored in towers while one was stored in a fortress. If the slab was stored in the fortress, shouldn't I be able to find the slab there?

You don't sound sure about whether it's in the fortress. Please reopen this report when you're more sure and you've reproduced the problem without firebreath. Also, saves should be uploaded at http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^]

Just reopening briefly to state that I looked at the fortress that one of the slabs is claimed to be stored in and I did find it there.

So I guess it was just that I didn't look carefully enough (and kind of expected it to be in the central building) and it just happened that previously all of the slabs were in a fort and I just didn't look carefully enough.

I could check back in the fortresses (once I get out from underground....) since I still have the save, but I suspect that it's just because I didn't look carefully enough.

Okay, while I was able to find two of the slabs that are in a fort (both were on the ground), I just cannot find the third one.

I am 100% sure this is the right location, looked carefully, even waited until night when snow was on the ground to make it stand out if it was on the ground, looked in the surrounding area around the fort, looked inside the bags and chests in the main 'keep' structure.

The slab that I have in inventory is a different one.

Since I did find two of them, best two out of three I guess. Still wondering where the heck the third one is.

"I just cannot find the third one" isn't enough for Toady to work with. Unless you have some way to conclusively confirm that's it's missing, it's impossible to tell whether this is a bug or just something you overlooked. Maybe someone in Gameplay Questions can help.
