0006709: Crops have redundant entries in stockpile settings (from multiple materials?)
When attempting to allow or forbid certain plant types for a Food stockpile, each entry in the 'Plants' sub menu shows up multiple times (Observed 2 and 3 duplicate entries.)
1. Create a new stockpile.
2. Select the Stockpile using 'Q' and open its settings.
3. Navigate down to the Food category and then navigate to the 'Plants' subtype.
4. Observe duplicate entries for all members of the category. (See Screenshot: http://i701.photobucket.com/albums/ww13/OhioRawks/duplicateEntries.png [^])

I noticed this too. it may be that the different products of said plants are not properly listed in the stocks menu, IE: leaves, berries, etc..

I have the same issue. Clean new 40.03 install, freshly generated new world, very first fort in the world. All new plant types have double, triple, some even have quadruple entries. Of all old plants, only strawberries have a double entry.

Definitely related to 0007099, and I think that it is due to multiple materials which the current "gather plants" job doesn't support properly.

Possibly related to 0007381, a similar problem with ammo stockpiles. Perhaps someone will have to go over all the stockpile lists and look for other duplicate entries.

(40.04) Some armor types have redundant stockpile entries too.
Gauntlets, Mittens, Togas, High Boots, Shields, ...

3 Skirts entries are normal because small and long skirts are only named "skirts" in item_pants.txt

It appears, the game is processing anything with STRUCTURAL_PLANT_TEMPLATE as separate plant entries, which include most plant leaves and flowers. Which is why buckwheat has three duplicate listings, because it's counting the leaves and flowers as "plants", as well as the plant itself.
