Me too. Crashes every time (no debugger).
Not sure if the same issue...(please move or delete if not related)
Once save was identified as crashing the game (as per above)
1. Create a second world gen
2. Embarked
3. Saved new folder
4. Restore/played from new folder
 - no error/crash
5. Opened first folder (known corrupt)
 - crashed
6. Restarted, opened second folder (known good)
 - crashes now!
