Summary0007282: Human lashers and vault axemen have two shields and no weapon
DescriptionI started with a dwarven adventurer in a room with a human lasher. He moves and left an equipment piece. I picked it up and it was an iron shield. Then I looked in his inventory, if he has a whip, but there was no waepon, so I think he started with two shields and dropped the obsolte-one.
Steps To ReproduceStart an adventurer and look in the inventory of some soilders.

I saved a save, if its needed, but you can only see a human lasher without a weapon and a second shield in your inventory.

Okay, after a while in adventure mode it seems, that this appears to at least every dwarven and human lasher.

I made a couple adventurers to test this out. the first one i put up a bunch of my attributes like normal, i raised lasher, fighter, dodger, etc up to proficient like normal... i started with a whip and a shield. second, i raised strength only a few attributes to max, and only put points in fighter and lasher... still got a whip. lastly i started an adventurer with no attributes raised, and only lasher at max... i still got a whip.

This does not happen to the adventurer, but to random soldiers.

Ok, just now I saw a "tricky messenger axeman" (one of the vault-soldiers) with two shields, but no weapon. So it seems, that this bug is not limited to lashers.

Just had one of the vault soldiers have two shields as well, also an axeman though.

And a second axeman.

Got a 40.19 vault where this happens. Axelord angels have 1 shield equipped and one or more at their feet. All other angels have appropriate weapons. Have seen Axelord angels with appropriate weapons in other worlds from previous versions.

Edit: Might not be important but these angels are wearing large clothes and the Axelord angels I've seen before were wearing dwarf sized clothes. (Both adventurers were dwarves.)

Another difference is that all the Axelord's items are normal quality while all the other angel's items are all superior quality.

I should also note that I've seen this with visiting (and resident) lashers in hillocks, they'll have two shields and no weapon. Same for pikemen, except that they don't carry any shields.

Most likely because dwarves don't natively make pikes and whips.
