What's the exact familial connection between them? Father's brother, or what?

Please upload a save that demonstrates the problem to http://dffd.wimbli.com/ [^] and post the link here.

The familial connection is Uncle (father's brother) / Niece (brother's daughter).

The baroness (Logem Ushatkokeb) is the niece. Her father, Morul Rutodonul is the older brother of the jeweler Tulon Likotlitast, with whom she is romantically involved.

Neither is listed as Lover in the other's relationships, presumably because the family connection takes priority, so they appear as Uncle and Niece. They are however listed in each other's thoughts as romantic involvements, and they both "talked with a lover lately".

The save is also an example of a double barony (0007292).
