Summary0008354: When removing the floor beneath trees, they just fly
DescriptionI recently channeled away a good amount of earth on the surface for my fortress but didn't realize that they were still trees on that surface. Eventually the dwarfs removed the block below the tree-trunk and to my surprise it just kept standing in mid-air.

I tried to remove the tree afterwards but with no success.
Steps To Reproduce1. Channel away an area with a tree.
2. Watch magic floating trees in awe.

Edit: Is there still a ground (that is, a floor) around the tree?

No I don't have a save. If happened to many trees so I figured it was a common thing.

No all trees are floating in the air without any ground around it. After a second check I actually mined beneath it (just channeled everything else) so technically there is a floor still beneath the trees, but still that shouldn't be floating.
