That may be connected to 0.40.20 "Hauling jobs that used to need a held container now allow the dwarf to carry many items without a container".
But what is the problem? Do dwarves always take new bags and don't add seeds to partly filled ones? Or you don't like more types of seeds in one bag? |

Well, they refuse to put seeds in bags that already have a different kind of seed in them, so either that should be changed or this is a bug. |

That's been around for a long time (http://dwarffortresswiki.org/index.php/v0.31:Seed [^] - "Different seed types can't be mixed within a bag, so storing 10 seeds, one each of 10 different types, would require ten different bags."). They are also like "kaniwa seeds bag" not just "seeds bag" with various seeds in.
This sounds to me as (at least for now) intended behaviour and rather a suggestion than a bug. Try writing to http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?board=5.0 [^] unless someone already did but I haven't manage to find any such suggestion there. |

The bug is that they *are* putting multiple kinds of seeds into a bag. |
