Summary0009350: Vampire is revealed upon election to Mayor
DescriptionI got a migrant who had some great social abilities but no listed kills. When he became Mayor soon after, it said "Urist, Dwarf Vampire has become Mayor."

That's how I learned he was a vampire.
Steps To ReproduceHave a vampire become Mayor I guess.

Was there a save for this? The election announcement had the proper naming check -- the other position announcements were all broken though, and I've fixed those.

I no longer have the save. Sorry. It was on my work computer and we had an audit so I had to temporarily get rid of my games. :(

0.42.05: I've had visiting vampires declared as such when visiting, but not all of them. I've also had a vampire who petitioned for residency using the true name rather than the alias, resulting in confusion as I tried to identify the petitioner in the other units screen (and, of course, revealing the petitioner as having a hidden identity).
I'll try to provide a save the next time it happens.

0.42.05 LNP r01 with the Phoebus tile set, DT, DFHack Performance Tweaks. Gremlins doubled in size to use Kobold clothing, humans caravan conditions same as elves for the trade value bug.

And here's a second save, later on in the same game. A vampire identified on arrival on the map has just Petitioned. I've used DFHack to nickname the fiend to Vampire to keep track of it. http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11983 [^]
The Petition names the petitioner as Grippedsparkle, with the nicknaming hiding the false first name. 'v'iewing the vampire itself gives the name as Entryflings. Exported Legends Mode info doesn't have any anyone called Entryflings, which isn't surprising.

"I recently had a vampire revealed by the announcement of his being elected mayor. I went back to a recent save and watched carefully what happened and saw that he was feeding at the exact moment he was elected mayor.

While a vampire is feeding, his or her job title temporarily has the word 'Vampire' added to it. They will even show up this way in the 'u' menu. If any announcement is made about the vampire during this time, it will display their current title and reveal their vampire status."
