0009355: Mummy Disappears After Save/Reload
Was going to see if I could walk into a room and exit before being cursed at 9.9 speed so I saved beforehand, upon reloading there was a puff of miasma and the usual invisible npc you have to crawl under standing where the coffin was.
1. Awaken a mummy, I used the method of picking up an item, I assume getting near the coffin works too.

2. Save your game.

3. Reload the game, there will occasionally be a puff of miasma if you're fast enough, and the mummy will be gone.

4. If you try to walk over the coffin you bump into the still-occupied square from where the mummy disappeared, which is a different bug.

Do you have an earlier save (before you woke the mummy)?

If so, upload it as a zipped region folder to http://dffd.bay12games.com/ [^] and post a link to it here, please.

Hang on, stuck in a dance because of lag, but it'll be repeatable any time, though I did notice the weirdness of the one time that miasma popped up I ended up encountering the mummy as a roaming army on the map, didn't get cursed, but they did chase after me trying to beat me up, reanimated stuff normally when I led them to a tomb, so that's odd.

Here we go: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11491 [^]

It is from my WanderLust mod with the Onepunch interactions active since I was trying to collect dances when I saw the request so I ran over and found a mummy.

Went back into the room to the east and picked up a pig tail thread (I'm collecting them for bookbinding), looked down at the tomb: http://i.imgur.com/fJUc43x.png [^] (the green ! is the icon for my sense creature class ability)

Saved and reloaded: http://i.imgur.com/wahCeW8.png [^] (no green ! = no more mummy!)

Ah, here we go. I've done this before but it was well after I was no longer vulnerable to being cursed. I am glad I saved shortly beforehand for two reasons... one... I hate being cursed, two, I was able to load the save up on dffd for the relevance here: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11506 [^]

There are two roaming armies near where the adventurer is saved, both should be just a bit northwest of you, a sleeping human master lasher, and a mummy from the tomb to the north which I had recently looted, using the save/reload trick to get rid of the mummies.

They don't disappear entirely, and they can in fact curse you later on if you bump into them, so if you do this... make sure you become a vampire or something before encountering any roaming armies!
