I had something similar happen, I took a look at my artifact list and there was an entry for a book I never made, well I don't think you can even make a book in a fey mood... It was "History of the dwarf" and the description said "it's prose is amateurish at best" and it was only worth 110 db, so obviously wasn't a true artifact.
It was sitting outside in the rain where I had a battle with goblins and was forbidden so either a goblin dropped it or the human visitor I had got killed in the battle and dropped it. |

I saw a fb parchment scroll in legends. |

I have seen this bug plenty of times in legends mode. There are also artifacts made using night creature parchment (moon monster, night troll, bleak man, etc.). |

I've also seen some artifacts using scorpion devil, glacier titan, wereskunk, bogeyman, dwarf, roc, giant or wolverine man parchment. It's perfectly random, I guess. |
