Summary | 0009498: Jumping and dodging soon afterward causes erratic dodge behavior
Description | Jumping around and then dodging seems to glitch out dodging somehow; the menu that normally controls such will display the same directions multiple times rather than the normal display of every passable direction on the same Z-level, and selecting one of the lower options in the list can result in dodging multiple tiles, sometimes across entire screens and completely ignoring whether the target location is a valid place to dodge. To clarify: instead of the normal list with North, Northeast, etc. you will get something like Southwest, Southwest, North, North, North, Southwest, Here, Southwest (not specifically, it seems to be more or less random).
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Make an adventurer, preferably with high dodge skill. 2. Provoke combat, preferably with multiple opponents. 3. Jump at one of them. 4. Attempt to dodge an attack, and select one of the options appearing lower on the list.
Additional Information | http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=11679 [^] - contains adventurer trapped underground by this. May be tied to fighting multiple opponents at once - have only encountered the bug in two situations, one was fighting a troop of gray langurs, and the other was fighting a mass of trolls in a goblin burial pit. It also seems to effect the effectiveness of dodging, as my adventurer was hit multiple times against unskilled opponents while doing nothing but dodging. My adventurer was a vampire at the time.

It also seems to be affected by rage. I've managed to reproduce it a couple times but not reliably. |

Affected in which way? Rage of whom? |

The adventurer being enraged. It seems like rage somehow affects combat skill in general (adversely, my legendary fighter/accomplished swordsman couldn't hit anything until he calmed down), which would include dodge. I'll try to test this out a bit more, perhaps with another adventurer or in arena mode. |
