|Summary||0001490: strangulation is nerfed heavily.|
|Description||strangulation used to be a real killer but now it was nerfed and its almost useless now.|
|Tags||No tags attached.|
I tested it in Adventure mode some time ago and found some strange things about strangulation.
Strangle somebody, then without breaking the hold grab their head and punch them in the head. Instant kill. This particular combination of actions is for some reason extremely effective against anybody who is not immune to your strangling (too large body or not properly "alive").

Another how do you do that? I cant play df for a while (at friends house) but wont the hold break?
And do you mean punch or pinch?
Marking this as a duplicate of 0000449 because it has no real information that can be acted upon. You already posted a suggestion or two about this.
Another -- that sounds worth following up on. If that behavior is reproducible and seems buggy, please post a bug report on it. You can also post your findings on the forums, e.g. in G-Flex's combat testing thread. http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=52120.0 [^]
