Summary | 0000290: Note for Footkerchief
Description | I notice you've switched to resolving everything instead of closing duplicates. Is this because you think you can only set one filter? If so... Click on Advanced Filters Click on Status CTR-Click any fields you wish Click apply filter

I'm setting them as "resolved" so that Toady can review them before closing them. As far as I can tell, that's the expected workflow for Mantis, so I'm trying it out. Also, when you resolve tickets, it gives you to the opportunity to also set a duplicate relationship, which is more convenient than doing it as two separate steps. But thanks for the info about advanced filters! I didn't know you could do that. Do you happen to know if there's a way to keep Mantis from storing my "current filter setting" or whatever? It's really annoying that, if I have a bug list open in one tab and do a search in another, I can't continue to page through the first list because it then tries to use the new search filter. Essentially you can only use one filter at a time. Oh, and thanks for noting all those duplicates, that saved me a lot of time. |

That one I do not know. I haven't actually used Mantis before, I had just used other applications that used CTR-click to multi-select so I just puzzled out how to do it. And your welcome, just trying to be useful. |
