Summary | 0004269: Dwarves don't use weapon racks |
Description | Military dwarves, when taken off duty, may drop their weapons on the ground even if an empty weapon rack is available. The weapon rack had been properly constructed as a "building" and had not been assigned to anyone. It also hadn't been made into a barracks, but I don't think that having a barracks should be a requirement for dwarves to store their weapons properly instead of dumping them outside where a kobold or monkey can easily steal them. And speaking of monkeys, it seems strange that rhesus macaques were coming to my embark site located entirely in cold and freezing biomes.
I've never seen a dwarf use a weapon rack in any other circumstance either. |
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Build a weapon rack, but don't make it into a barracks.
2. Have a dwarf with a weapon.
3. If it's military dwarf, take him off duty. Otherwise, disable the hunting, mining, or woodcutting labor. |
