|0004491||Dwarf Fortress||Dwarf Mode -- Interface, Workshop Profiles||public||2011-04-10 18:41||2014-12-25 18:14|

|Target Version||Fixed in Version||0.40.01|
|Summary||0004491: Jeweler's Workshop allows "Encrust with Gems" option when no cut gems are available.|
|Description||In the Jeweler's workshop, there are two options for each gem type - Cut Gems and Encrust with Gems. If I have uncut gems, the workshop will allow me to select e, but will not allow any future selections. The "c" for cut is highlighted while the "E" is not. So you shouldn't be able to select the E from the menu, as no cut gems exist.|
|Steps To Reproduce||build jeweler's workshop|
have uncut gems
select the gems in the jeweler's workshop and try to encrust them.
|Tags||No tags attached.|
No more in 40.21.
I have tried microcline, red zircon and few other options. Hitting "e" or "E" does nothing for those stones/gems when there are no cut stones/gems present. I can get to "encrust which type of goods" menu only for those stones/gems that I have already cut.
So this report can be closed unless it works as reported for some specific stone/gems.
|Thanks! I'm not sure when this was fixed, so I'll chalk it up to 0.40.01 unless anyone cares to research it.|
