Summary0006009: Masons stand on wall they are constructing despite free tile in cardinal direction
DescriptionExactly what it says on the tin: Masons will occasionally stand on the wall segment that they are attempting to construct, despite having a free, adjacent tile in one of the four cardinal directions. This renders them unable to complete the wall segment, with cancellation message "Urist McMason cancels construct wall: Creature occupying site." They won't always do it, but when it does occur it is rather persistent.
Additional InformationI have only observed this behaviour in wall construction next to downward ramps, but it is unclear whether this is significant.

Save available here: [^]
The described behaviour occurs in a construction that should be visible upon load - if not, it can be found 1 through 3 z-levels above the F1 zoom position.
