Possibly this is the same bug, but bridges that attempt to cross a gap diagonally are completely messed up. The walls are sometimes N/S or E/W blocking the path, other times they form diamond shapes.

Still happening in .12

I was checking out what a worldgen fort looks like (they're just pits, apparently) and ran into a string of completely messed up bridges, plus several bridges which may as well be diving boards.

Given the current DevLog, this will most likely be fixed in the next version (after 31.25).

"Bridges that hopefully aren't as scary and tragic as what came previously (that is, placed over every murky pool going off into the sky with various breaks and weird ramps and trouble)."
