Summary0008283: When eating raw fruit, dwarves choose grapes almost exclusively
DescriptionI regularly purchase imported fruits. No matter how many more blueberries, blackberries, etc. I have, my dwarves almost always elect to eat raw grapes. Grapes happen to be the first-listed fruit in plants_garden.txt that is available in my fortress, so it's possible the dwarves are just walking the list in order to select which fruit to eat.

 Normally, unless they have preferences available, they walk to the nearest distance to get what they need. Are they going out of their way to eat grapes?

 Yes... but apparently one dwarf has a preference for "grape vines" and another has a preference for "grapes". So apparently no raw fruit is being eaten except by dwarves with a specific preference, and that is likely working as intended.

 What version was the world generated in? It seems like having a preference for "grape vines" vs just "grapes" should have been fixed with 0007345.

 It probably was; this world was migrated from v0.40.09.
