Summary 0002043: Grimelings produce skin, bones, meat with [NOSKIN], [NOBONES], [NOMEAT] tags present
Revision 2010-06-13 16:40 by Logical2u
Description Grimelings, since they are "plant people", have a vast array of tags that stop them from having any useful bits on them. Specifically, [NOSKULL], [NOSKIN],[NOBONES] and [NOMEAT] tags are present in their RAWs.

However, in arena mode, they can be butchered, producing meat, fat skin and bones. They can also be (somehow) butchered in Dwarf Mode, which resulted in a moody dwarf selecting grimeling bones to work with. I had previously slaughtered a few of them with an axedwarf, but wasn't able to butcher them normally. I'm not sure how the bones got there, but I assume the skeleton was either automatically butchered or the corpses rotted away into nothing.

As well, the bones description has a typo - another superfluous space at the end.
