Summary0011542: Constant collapses on the surface without cause
DescriptionSince I provoked a cave in in the surface, there have been constant reports (every few minutes) of "something collapse on the surface" without anything actually being there. There are no fires, no tiles at all, in fact, left in the z-level and area where the collapses are reported. The collapses do produce dust and push dwarves. Some structures (stone floors and a paved road) have been destroyed by these ghost collapses.
Additional InformationThe savefile where it can be observed is the same as in the 0011541 case: http://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=15069 [^]

Also, the (original) collapse left some "ramp tops" hanging in the middle of the air.

Now there are a bunch of trees (including a multi-tile one) growing in the middle of the air

Now there are ghost trees that dont give wood when cut and constantly respawn in the same spot. They can be cut and are at surface-level, however, not floating.

Note that they are in the same spot as the floating trees, but on the surface.

I have found a way around the glitch: building ramps and floor tiles to cut the trees. Some were one z-level above the ground, others were two z-levels above the ground and, finally, some were three z-levels above the ground.

Almost all of the trees caused a "something has collapsed on the surface!" message and dust. Once I had cut all the trees, however, the messages stopped, and the trees dont seem to grow above the ground anymore.

The ghost trees that I had observed before also disappeared.
