0010399: Visitors pathing to attack flying animals cause heavy lag.
Certain flying creatures will drop my FPS from solid 65~ to anywhere between 1 and 25 usually in the 1-10 range.
Have a group of flying creatures appear in area.
Certain flying creatures cause issues and some don't.
Ravens, Giant ravens.
Buzzards, Peach faced lovebird men/women.
Could be aggressive creatures that cause issues?

They seem to lag when they get near my overground tavern consisting of over 120 human soldiers, perhaps its pathing issues or ranger issues? It lags when they're not shooting.

Could also be the simple hunter lag issue although there are no hunting job cancellations.

I have disabled all hunters and the issue persists, will try moving tavern underground next.

It seems to just be something to do with vast amounts of human soldiers trying to kill the flying creatures although not many are shooting so i guess the melee soldiers are also trying to path.

This isn't necessarily a bug so close it if you wish.

The martial code uses "jump/climb pathing", which is more costly than regular pathing. Perhaps there should be some sort of sanity-check or cool-down when targeting flying creatures.
