Summary0010531: Artifact gone from artifacts list after retire/unretire; reappears after save/load
DescriptionAfter retiring and unretiring, my fortress artifact is missing from the artifact list. It's still right there in the tavern on a pedestal, you can view it, even assign it to another pedestal under the category artifacts. But hitting 'L' reveals only a demon rat parchment scroll lying on the edge of the map.
Steps To ReproduceIn the save linked below, artifact Avan Gan is on a pedestal in the tavern. But 'L' only reveals "On Atemba Constructscreamed" a scroll someone left lying around.
Additional InformationRetired fortress.

Save here (world has lots of modded raws. Shouldn't effect artifacts).

When I loaded your save, Avan Gan showed up second in the 'L' list of artifacts. Would you try downloading your save to see if it then appears for you too?

The old, save and restart fix seems to have worked. That list didn't exist last night when I closed down.
Thank you, case closed.

But just before you close this down, I'll check to see if it's repeatable by retiring and unretiring. The list being gone until you save the game and restart is still a bug I guess. Just not a very serious one.

Yes, OK. Repeatable. Retire this save and unretire, artifact will be missing from the list again. Right now I have three visting dorfs with various artifacts. Only the one in the tavern is missing from the list.

Can't upload a save of course, as saving apparently solves the issue.
