Summary0010559: Strange Mood Dwarf Not Claiming Workshop
DescriptionA mason dwarf went into a strange mood while standing next to a mason's workshop but is refusing to claim it. Checked with DFHacks and his intentions are to claim a mason's workshop and become a legendary mason. The dwarf has several Mason's workshops next to him but insists on just walking back and forth. Attempted Fixes/Checks:
Removed a few pillars at possibility of being a pathing issue.
Dwarf is NOT in a burrow.
Forced dwarf into burrow with the workshops inside, no effect, removed from burrow.
Saved, Quit, and relaunched game.
Removed all jobs from the workstations including general jobs.
No other dwarfs are using these stations, though they are walking around him.
Steps To Reproduce
Additional InformationI can upload my save if need be, I'm not sure where to do that. If it comes up the affected dwarf is nicknamed "Floof".

SOLVED-Removed the workstations he was running between. He ran to another station like he was going to claim it but didn't. Removed that station. Repeated until there was only one station left and he has finally claimed it! Not sure what the issue was as I have not changed the settings on any of the stations.

Thanks for the save. It appears you can work around this bug by forbidding all but one of the masons' workshops.

I hit this issue today in the Steam version of Dwarf Fortress and the workaround worked for me. Thanks!

But, this remains an issue.
