Are you aware that the diplomat has come for diplomacy and to RELAX? It's normal for the diplomat to remain until just before the elven caravan (potentially) arrives in spring. They might even stay a bit longer than that. |

Usually entertaining the outpost liason well is assumptively (citation needed) contributive to your tavern's reputation, which might draw more guests that aren't naturally ultra-curious from in-range but further away civilizations but only when they eventually leave.
Relaxation isn't a fixed term event unless it undergoes changes at some point, but it may be understandable if its percieved that they remain within the fortress for longer than the player is comfortable with. |

Ah, that makes sense. This definitely is not a glitch, then. I do wonder why he'd want to stay in a fort rapidly approaching famine, with no means of recreation other than discussion, but I guess Armok works in mysterious ways. |
