It's not restricted to jewelers. In a trivial test fortress, I ordered 100 stone statues, 100 clay statues, and 100 wood figurines. The mason made 2 statues of mussels that he detests, the potter made 26 statues of moon snails that he detests, and the woodcrafter made 6 figurines of bark scorpions that he detests. Even the mason's measly two statues of mussels A) exceeded the number of all other vermin statues he made combined (0) and B) matched or exceeded the number of statues he made of each of his preferred animals. Meanwhile 1/4 of the statues my inexperienced potter churned out were of the snails he hates.
Presumably there are factors which affect the number of hated-vermin artworks (skill, traits, focus, media, ?), but that's a topic to explore on the forum, not in an errant bug report. |
