Summary0010965: Dwarves hauling material to build down-stair in tree like it weighs a million pounds
DescriptionTried to construct a down stair in connection to a successfully built up stair for a new not yet constructed windmill, but when dwarf gets to building material stops no job cancellation and says 'waiting for construction needs wall\floor construction'. I waited several minutes, than tried suspending it and trying again. Still didn't work, so tried changing construction material. This time dwarf hauled stone one tile after several minutes. Tried relocating stair, even washed dwarf away with water only to get suspension due to dangerous terrain. I can't make my drowning trap work because of this very frustrating bug.
Steps To ReproduceHappened once several years ago in Windows computer in a much older version, unsure if it was down stairs or just stair that time. Went away after I gave up and tried again on the other side of river several years later. Possibly caused by water or machinery? Both? No idea how to reproduce, seems random.
Additional InformationConsidered punching monitor this time, last time rage quit dwarf fortress for a few weeks.

Yeah, I was. Thank you for you're help. Both attempts were in a tree. Tried building out of said tree and it worked. Finally, I can build death trap! Cutting down tree as revenge plot.
