The Hall of Bearing is a farmer guildhall in my fortress named Flickeredlantern, I'm assuming it's supposed to be an image of dwarves?
Steps To ReproduceHave a dwarf make an artifact with an image of the creation of a guildhall.

This used to happen (perhaps still does) when I ordered an image of a dance troupe to engraved someplace. Might be just not good at recognising groups in general, or might be because they aren't all the same race. The dance troupe were mixed, are your guild members all dwarves?

This happened to me with a statue. So it also happens for non-artifacts.
