0011590: Caravans dwarves get stuck at the edge of the map
Save: https://dffd.bay12games.com/file.php?id=15146 [^]

Load the save, go up 2 Z-levels, and at the left edge of the map you'll see 4 frozen dwarves who I think got stuck there from previous years' caravans leaving and leaving them at the edge of the map. There's also items there -- if you go back down 1 z-level, then you'll see near the top left corner of my little fenced-in pasture (1 tile up and 5 to the left from the top left corner of the fence), you'll see a big pile of items which I didn't put there. Examining what items were left at the time it happened made it seem like it was trade items that the caravan was carrying away with it which somehow all got dumped onto that tile.

There's also a caravan leaving during this save -- it's not very consistent but 1 out of 3 times that I watched it leave, one of their dwarves got stuck at the top edge of the map. Not sure if he'll stay there for years like the ones on the left edge but he froze at the edge and didn't leave with the rest of them.

Also a heads-up: This save is afflicted with the equipment corruption bug; it's on the verge of a crash and will likely crash right away if you modify the military squads. I was tracking down a crash to a reproducible save but it now seems likely that it's equipment corruption and doesn't need a separate bug. I did notice the caravan brokenness during the same save, though, so here we are. If you need me to try to get a save that shows the caravan bug without being about to crash I can do that.

Thanks!

Update: I looked again and IDK why I thought these dwarves were involved with the caravan, but it's poets and a peasant and a woodcrafter. So probably not caravan-related but still I have no idea how they got stuck in that location and it doesn't seem like the right behavior.
