0001593: Sleeping Militia Commander causes crash - SAVE INCLUDED
Edit: Removing the militia commander from his squad via the military screen resolves the initial crash.
-----

There's a save game with a scheduled crash that I've been trying to prevent in random ways. And failing to.

I'm actually not sure what it's triggered by exactly but I suspect it's the migrants because not only is the crash a few seconds after the last migrant enters the meeting room, but this same fortress had a crash in a sort of parallel game where a different set of migrants came.

These two 'parallel' games originate from one same Autumn save. The first game I played until the migrants came in Spring and it crashed sometime after they were all finished. I didn't save at all so I played again (this is the second game) and saved right before the migrants arrived. The migrants from both games were very different, but the crash seemed to have happen right after all the migrants finished going to the meeting room.

Edit: Just changing the militia commander position to someone else via the Nobles screen doesn't prevent the crash. The Militia Commander is sound asleep (and remains asleep) during the crash, and there are no unusual weapons (IE: Knives) to blame.

No arsenal dwarf likely due to the no replacement nobles problem.

Uhhh, thanks!

Your militia commander, "Mint", is causing the crash.

Removing him from the position of Squad Leader/Militia commander stops the crash, at least temporarily (I haven't let it run very long past the incident point.) (That is, you have to remove him from the position on the Military screen, not the Noble screen).

Since he's asleep at the time of the crash, it's kind of odd in that regard.

Yeah, this is the squad info disconnect bug. The saves'll be patched up for 0.31.07, but I'm still working on the root cause.
