Summary0001720: Can't Grow Sweet pods anywhere?
DescriptionI think this is a bug...Please excuse me if I'm wrong.

But no matter where I go on the world map I can't grow sweet pods.
Steps To ReproduceStart a fort and try to grow sweet pods....if you just have sweet pod seed it will say no seeds for this area.
Additional InformationI've only tried this 3 times and all 3 I could never grow anything

Sweet pods are underground plants. Are you placing your farm plots underground? See this article for more information: http://df.magmawiki.com/index.php/40d:Farming#Aboveground_or_underground.3F [^] (that article is for an older version of DF, but it's mostly still relevant)

You need to have muddy underground farm plots, whether on stone or soil. This is likely a bug, as stated on 0000013. Or does this apply specifically to sweet pots? I've had no trouble planting things, provided I have muddy ground...

I grow sweet pods on a regular basis. Syrup makes an excellent export and for tasty roasts. Also, rum for everyone!

Are you able to grow other underground crops in that farm field, like plump helmets?

If so, do you have sweet pod seeds? If you have no sweet pod seeds you will not be able to grow sweet pods.
