Summary0003087: ropes 'vanish' after deconstruction.
DescriptionRopes and possibly chains as well are no longer on the map after deconstructing a rope/chain (<b>+<v>). I had the standard embark 3 ropes constructed to have dogs lined at the doors, deconstructed 2 for a well, but they are gone.
Dwarves cannot find them to be put into stockpiles nor can I manually find them.
In the stocks screen they are still listed, but without a records-scribe I don't think these are up to date.
This could be a new feature for ropes, but the <z> stocks screen throws me a bit.
Steps To Reproducebuild a restraint <b><v> (using a rope)
deconstruct it.
rope is gone.

You say that you had dogs chained at the entrance - did you deassign those dogs from the ropes before deconstructing the restraints? If not, check the inventory of the dogs and try dumping the ropes if they are there.

Yeah, this is probably 0000374. Check your dogs' inventories. Alternately, appoint a recordkeeper and zoom to the ropes.

yep, dog are trailing the ropes.
