Summary0004649: Military dwarves suspend throwing a tantrum to train
DescriptionFollowing a rather laughable siege, one of my Macedwarves began throwing a tantrum due to the loss of a friend and a pet. After a few minutes I checked announcements and combat reports to see if he'd done any damage, and finding that he hadn't I checked to see what he was doing: He is in the barracks, listed as "Throwing a tantrum!" while performing the job of "Watch Armor Demonstration." (How does one "demonstrate" armor anyway?)

Bug, or impressive display of military discipline?
Steps To Reproduce1. Cause active soldier to tantrum

2. Watch as soldier goes to train anyway

The barracks is the southwest room off the entry hallway at the north of the F1 hotkey area. There you will find the training/tantruming Macedwarf, quietly watching a demonstration with brief flickerings of rage.

I think this is probably a version of 0002139, namely drafting can reset special mood swings, such as tantrums and 'Strange Moods'.

One demonstrates armour usage by showing how to fasten it properly, how to deflect certain blows in certain ways at certain angles. Use your imagination, it's a large part of Dwarf Fortress.

Amusing bug though. :)
